The 2026 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WBG) will take place from April 13 to 18, in Washington, D.C. Key events will include the Development Committee Meeting, the International Monetary and Financial Committee, and events and fora focused on international development, the global economy, and financial markets.
The Annual Meetings are a statutory event of the Bank Group that enable the Bank’s Board of Governors and management to take stock of the past year and adopt strategic resolutions to help accelerate the development of the African continent.
Our mission is to advocate for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 7) to ensure everyone has access to safe, reliable and affordable energy, and for environmentally sustainable and efficient energy systems globally.
